Biodata
Jing Fei is trained as a clinical psychologist with experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including teenagers, young adults, and older adults. In her practice, she has conducted couple and family therapy, addressing interrelationship difficulties.
Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, Jing Fei worked with children with special needs providing support to address their behavioral and academic challenges. Since her psychiatric clinical attachment experience, she has been gaining exposure to individuals with various mental disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and schizophrenia.
Jing Fei mainly practices the humanistic approach in the treatment of clients. She focuses on the present and occasionally explores into individual’s past experiences to facilitate their awareness of the current challenges. She also integrates an existential perspective to better understand clients’ difficulties by delving into the search for meaning and identifying potential barriers that may impede changes.
Jing Fei believes in the inherent capacity of every individual for self-awareness and making their own choices. Besides empowering clients to lead more fulfilling lives, she values the opportunity to continue personal growth through her interactions with clients.
