Biodata

Athena is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC Registration No.: CP00100). She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University.

Athena is professionally trained in administering psychological assessments, providing clinical diagnoses, delivering evidence-based interventions, and implementing preventive strategies for individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Her clinical experience spans diverse settings, including private practices, mental health services, special needs schools, and non-governmental organisations.

She offers both individual and family-based interventions for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, bullying, abuse, trauma, behavioural issues, social difficulties, learning or academic challenges, grief and loss, family separation or conflict, self-esteem, coping with change, and life transitions. Athena has extensive experience working with clients from various cultural and religious backgrounds, and is committed to providing inclusive care regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or race.

Before qualifying as a clinical psychologist, Athena spent six years working with children and adolescents in the Klang Valley, supporting their academic, emotional, and family-related needs. She is also skilled in facilitating group programmes, camps, seminars, and workshops for young people, parents, and families.
