Biodata
Hooi Ting is trained in psychological assessments, diagnostic procedures, and providing tailored psychotherapy treatment for individuals across diverse age ranges and from varied cultural and religious backgrounds. She also has a background in working with children with special needs, particularly with individuals with autism spectrum disorder. She has also worked with adolescents and adults on their experience with depression, anxiety-related disorders, grief, trauma, relational concerns, and to better cope with neurodevelopment disorders such as Autism and ADHD.
Although her main approach is blending cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic methods, she embraces a versatile therapeutic approach with flexibility to prioritize client’s needs. Valuing a collaborative approach in therapy, her aim is to genuinely grasp and comprehend her clients’ unique perspectives and how they perceive the world. Her focus lies in uncovering individual strengths to bolster their journey towards recovery as she walks alongside them. She aims to facilitate that by creating a safe and compassionate space for them to explore vulnerably, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.
