Biodata
Life can be seasonal, and that’s alright. But perhaps we can also relate this to our understanding of mental health, that it sits on a spectrum – a range of seasons.
Bryan is a Malaysian-bred clinical psychologist that hails from Sarawak. Mainly his psychotherapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Yet he also draws upon an integrative style in assimilating other evidence-based techniques to align with clients’ needs. Therapy goes both ways – during his time as therapist, he has had the opportunity to learn from a diverse range of clientele e.g. those presenting with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger management, adjustment and interpersonal issues, and LGBT persons to name some. Aside from therapy, Bryan is also professionally trained to administer psychological assessments and diagnose mental disorders.
In the therapeutic space and over its course, Bryan aims to provide warmth, compassion, openness and honesty. He is genuine in working with his clients towards a place of greater choice, meaning and peace, coming from whichever juncture they are at in life.
Outside therapy, you can find him sauntering around local parks, enjoying dreampop music, or reading poetry.
